Sizing and Care

Ring Sizing

Finger sizes naturally fluctuate with temperature and activity, so try to find the average size between these fluctuations. The ring sizes listed in the shop are American standard sizing.  If you are unsure of your ring size you can have your finger sized by any jeweler in American standard sizing.  If you do not have access to a jeweler you can measure the inside diameter of a ring you already own or consider purchasing a finger gauge .   Please refer to this chart for international sizing and size diameters.

Jewelry Care

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver will tarnish over time when exposed to oxygen, sulfur and certain chemicals. The best measure to prevent this is wearing your silver jewelry often. The oils in your skin help prevent tarnish. (This varies depending on your own body chemistry.)
When not wearing your silver jewelry it is reccomended to store jewelry in an air tight bag or jewelry box.

To clean your silver jewelry without stones :

Line a bowl with aluminum foil (shiny side up), add 1 tbsp of baking soda and pour in boiling water.

Submerge the jewelry for 5-10 minutes, allowing the tarnish to transfer to the foil, then rinse and pat dry. Use a polishing cloth to bring the shine back.

To clean your silver jewelry with stones :

Use warm water with a mild dish soap and gently scrub with a toothbrush, thenrinse and pat dry. Use a polishing cloth to bring the shine back.

10k and 14k Gold

Gold is the best choice if you plan on leaving your jewelry on while showering, sleeping or  exercising. 10k and 14k gold can sometimes tarnish a bit - particularly on earrings and the inside of rings - depending on your skin chemistry, but it is a very easy fix.

To clean gold jewelry:
Use a soft toothbrush with a mix of hydrogen peroxide + baking soda, gently scrub then rinse and pat dry. Use a polishing cloth to bring the shine back.
